Femktorisering
En gren innom femologin som gåt ut på att skriva fem (5) med hjälp av ett visst antal 5:or. Funktionen betecknas [math]\displaystyle 5(n) [/math]. Olika lösningar för funktionen kan vara olika fina. Extra fina anses varianter som är kreativa och/eller innehåller många potenser. Bland de finaste är definitionen för 5(7), [math]\displaystile \frac{5^5}{5^{5-5^{5-5}}} [/math].
Notering: n:te roten ur något ([math]\displaystile \sqrt[n]{x} [/math]) är detsamma som [math]\displaystile x^{\frac{1}{n}} [/math] och betecknas därför lämpligen med [math]\displaystile x^{\frac{5}{n*5}} [/math] där n * 5 skrivs med lämpligt antal 5:or.
