Femktorisering
En gren innom femologin är att skriva fem med hjälp av ett visst antal 5:or. Funktionen betecknas [math]\displaystyle 5(n) [/math]. Olika lösningar för funktionen anses vara olika fina, Extra fina anses variationer som är kreativa och/eller innehåller många potenser.
Notering: n:te roten ur något ([math]\displaystile \sqrt[n]{x} [/math]) är detsamma som [math]\displaystile x^{\frac{1}{n}} [/math] och betecknas därför lämpligen med [math]\displaystile x^{\frac{5}{n*5}} [/math].
